The Century Arms is a semi-auto rifle in 7.62 x 39mm with a 21.5" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 30-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with open rifle sights.
The 7.62 x 39mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and carry. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
